City of Centerville <br />Work Session & City Council Meeting Minutes <br />October 25, 2023 <br />a. Taylor – <br /> Parks & Recreation – Council Member Taylor gave no report. <br /> Anoka County Fire Protection Council (Interim) – Council Member Taylor stated that <br />the next meeting was the following evening. <br /> <br />b. Koski – <br /> Planning & Zoning Commission – Council Member Koski gave no report. <br /> Fire Steering Committee – Council Member Koski stated that at the last meeting the <br />purchase of a truck was discussed and that there was a possibility of purchasing a new <br />truck within a year, slightly being over on the budget. <br />c. Vacant - <br /> <br />d. Mosher – <br /> <br /> Economic Development Authority – Council Member Mosher stated that the board was <br />working on their annual budget which would be forwarded to Council shortly. <br /> Police Governing Board – Council Member Mosher gave no report. <br /> <br />e. Love – <br /> <br /> North Metro Telecommunications Commission – Mayor Love reported gave no report. <br /> Police Governing Board – Mayor Love gave no report. <br /> Other Mayoral Reports - Mayor Love gave no report. <br /> <br />Mayor Love recessed the regularly scheduled Council meeting at 8:02 p.m. to the previously recessed <br />Work Session. <br /> <br />WORK SESSION (Cont’d) <br /> <br />Mayor Love opened the Work Session at 8:06 p.m. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION – Council Member Applicants <br /> <br />All Council, City Attorney Glaser, City Administrator Statz and Assistant City Administrator Lewis <br />were present. <br /> <br />Additional discussion was held regarding the applicants, their qualifications and Council’s appreciation <br />for the opportunity to interview five (5) candidates to fill the vacated seat/remaining term of the late <br />Council Member King. <br /> <br />Mayor Love adjourned the Work Session and reconvened the Regularly Scheduled Council Meeting at <br />8:25 p.m. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL (Cont’d) <br /> <br />IX.
