Public Works Truck Replacements <br />Based on current pricing, the city moved forward with the purchase of a 1-ton pickup truck, but held off on <br />the purchase of two more trucks that were programmed for replacement in the city's Capital Equipment <br />Replacement Plan. Staff continues to evaluate the market and look for alternative ways to equip our staff. <br />Anoka County Park Reserve Road Reconstruction <br />Anoka County Parks staff has contacted us to rescind their request to utilize Mound Trail as a detour route. <br />The project will likey proceed with the project being completed under traffic or utilizing the trail for a <br />detour route, instead. <br />City Hall Parking Lot Lighting <br />Staff and the contractor continue to stay in communication. We anticipate the bases being poured and <br />conduit being placed in November. <br />Centerville Lake Water Quality Project <br />The Rice Creek Watershed District, in cooperation with Anoka Conservation district, the cities of <br />Centerville and Lino Lakes, Anoka County Parks and the Centerville Lake Homeowner's Association has <br />submitted a grant application for nearly $1,000,000 to help fund a water quality project for Centerville <br />Lake. The recommended approach to the project is to treat the lake with Alum; a chemical which binds to <br />the phosphorus in the lake, enabling it to settle to the bottom. <br />CENTENNIAL LAKES POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />Police Governing Board <br />The Centennial Lakes Police Governing Board reviewed and approved the proposed funding formula <br />change. The three cities must each adopt the approved budget and formula change. Circle Pines and <br />Centerville have now done so. We anticipate the agreement will go in front of the City Council at their November 8 meeting. <br />1737 Main Street (Block 3) <br />City staff has been working with our realtor to find other potential buyers for the property. There are no <br />current proposals. <br />7087 Centerville Road — Connor James Salon (Block 8) <br />The property owner has been issued a fence permit to complete the required work in the Interim Use <br />Permit. <br />
