My wife and I moved here because of the small town feel even <br />though we were only miles from both St Paul and Minneapolis. In the 24 years that we have been <br />here it has mostly held on to that small town feel. I have been following the proposed development <br />that would be located within a couple of blocks from my home on Lakeland Cir. I have to tell you <br />that I strongly oppose the proposed development. In all the years I have lived here this is the ǎ rst <br />time I felt strongly enough about something going on in Centerville that I needed to communicate to <br />the city council and mayor. I am sure there are more rđêŹŗŏŹ϶ăƇƂ϶fЪňň list some of the reasons I <br />strongly oppose this development. <br />-lowering of property values on my largest investment <br />-signi ǎ cantly increased traic. We walk our dog almost every day along Centerville lake. There are <br />already times where we have long waits for traic to clear to cross Main St. <br />ЎËđЪňň϶İêƚđ϶Ƃŗ϶ċđêň϶ƜijƂİ϶êňň϶Ƃİđ϶ŏđĩêƂijƚđŹ϶ŹƇŵŵŗƇŏċijŏĩ϶ƂİijŹ϶ċđƚđňŗŲŎđŏƂ϶ăƇƂ϶Ƃİđŵđ϶Ɯijňň϶ăđ϶ŏŗ϶ŵđƚđŏƇđ <br />to oset our already high city taxes for 15 years because of the proposed TIF. <br /> I believe that the mayor and city council have a responsibility to act in the best interests of the <br />residents. I have yet to see how that would happen if this development gets approved. I voted for <br />you in the last election.
