LaLonde <br />INTRODUCTION <br />The LaLonde property on Westview Street at the north end of <br />downtown Centerville is proposed to be developed by Ten <br />Nineteen Development with a 104-unit luxury market-rate <br />apartment building as a planned unit development (PUD). <br />The 2.9-acre property is occupied by the LaLonde home and <br />outbuildings, which will be razed for the project. The property <br />is accessed from the intersection of Centerville Road and <br />Main Street north to Westview Street which is the southern <br />border of the property. Adjacent uses are single family to the <br />north and south, Centerville Elementary School to the east, <br />and Centerville Lake across Main Street to the west. <br />The LaLonde home occupies the highest point within a mile <br />or more in all directions, affording views across Centerville <br />Lake. The home site is about 15 feet higher than the <br />intersection of Centerville Road and Main Street, and about <br />40 feet higher than Centerville Lake. The site slopes <br />gradually to the east and north, but more steeply to the west <br />toward Main Street and the lake. <br /> <br /> <br />
