Administrator’sReport <br />May 22, 2024 <br />PARKS & RECREATION <br />Music in the Park <br />A sure sign that summer is here <br />is the first installment of our <br />Music in the Park series. The <br />Parks and Rec Committee thanks <br />Brian Peterson for his dedication <br />to the program and appreciates <br />his efforts insecuring a wide- <br />variety of performers. Live <br />music will start at 6:30p.m. <br />Graphics generated by Lonni <br />Olson Design & Consulting – <br />Thank you Lonni. <br />Fete des Lacs Logo Contest <br />The Committee has received the <br />contest entries, a subcommittee <br />will be meeting to determine the <br />winners shortly. Be prepared, <br />Mayor Love will be appearing at <br />the Elementary School and <br />Middle School to present the <br />st <br />winners with (2) $100 1Place, <br />ndst <br />(2) $50 2Place and (2) $25 Honorable Mentionsprior to the end of the school year. The two 1Place <br />logos will be utilized on the 5/8K Run T-Shirts and marketing associated with the festival.The winners will <br />also be announced through all social media associated with the City and on the Fete des Lacs website. <br />PUBLIC WORKS <br />We’re Hiring <br />Seasonal Public Works/Parks Maintenance Worker <br />This is a summer position assisting in general maintenance of city facilities (parks, streets, etc.). Requires <br />valid driver’s license and good driving record, high school diploma or GED, experience with maintenance <br />quipment; ability to lift 25 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs. Must have personal transportation to work. <br />Hourly pay: $16.30/hr.
