CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />May 22, 2024 <br />Administration <br />WS 2 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />City Hall Campus Improvements <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />In 2020, the city began on a major renovation of City Hall. Since the completion of that project staff has been <br />tackling items that finish up any untouched portions of City Hall and its surrounding campus. Those items have <br />included: repaving the parking lot, installing security cameras, adding parking lot lights, repainting bathrooms, <br />adding concrete pads for trash containers and the picnic bench, landscaping around the generator, and replacing <br />the heater, bulletin board and brochure rack in the vestibule. Staff would like to explore a few more items, <br />including the addition of a hand rail up the front walk and installing an irrigation system to maintain a grass <br />boulevard.
