PollutionPreventionManagementMeasures <br />1) Constructionandlandscapematerialsmustbeplacedundercover(e.g.,plastic <br />sheetingortemporaryroofs)orprotectedbysimilarlyeffectivemeansasdesigned <br />tominimizecontactwithStormwater; <br />2) ProductswhichareeithernotasourceofcontaminationtoStormwaterordesigned <br />tobeexposedtoStormwaterarenotrequiredtobecoveredorprotected; <br />3) Pesticides,herbicides,fertilizersandtreatmentchemicalsmustbeplacedunder <br />cover(e.g.,plasticsheetingortemporaryroofs)orprotectedbysimilarlyeffective <br />meansdesignedtominimizecontactwithStormwater; <br />4) Hazardousmaterialsandtoxicwaste(includingoil,dieselfuel,gasoline,hydraulic <br />fluids,paintsolvents,petroleumbasedproducts,woodpreservatives,additives, <br />curingcompounds,andacids)mustbestoredinsealedcontainerstopreventspills, <br />leaksorotherdischarge; <br />5) HazardousmaterialsmustbestoredanddisposedofinaccordancewithMinn.R.ch. <br />7045; <br />6) Solidwastemustbestored,collected,anddisposedofinaccordancewithMinn.R. <br />ch.7035; <br />7) Portabletoiletsmustbepositionedsothattheyaresecureandwillnottiporbe <br />knockedover. <br />8) Sanitarywastefromtheportabletoiletsmustbeproperlydisposedinaccordance <br />withMinn.R.ch.7041; <br />9) Reasonablestepsmustbetakentopreventthedischargeofspilledorleaked <br />chemicals,includingfuel,fromanyareawherechemicalsorfuelwillbeloadedor <br />unloadedincludingtheuseofdrippansorabsorbentsunlessinfeasible; <br />a) Adequatesuppliesmustbeavailableatalltimestocleanupdischarged <br />materialsandanappropriatedisposalmethodmustbeavailableforrecovered <br />spilledmaterials; <br />b) SpillsmustbeimmediatelyreportedandcleanedupasrequiredbyMinn.Stat. <br />Sect.115.061,usingdrycleanupmeasureswherepossible. <br />March2024|wqstrm498 <br />Page 13 of 23 <br /> <br />
