He will inquire if the sponsors will be printed on the back of the <br />run shirts. It was suggested that Ms. Larson also attend as the coordinator of the runs. <br /> <br />8. Dog Park <br /> <br />This agenda item is currently on the Community Priorities survey board and may be discussed at <br />a later date. <br /> <br /> <br />VII. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />1. April 3, 2024, P & R Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member Peterson, seconded by Committee Member Akpan to <br />approve the April 3, 2024 regular Meeting Minutes as presented. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br /> <br />VIII. UPDATES/ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />1. Staff Updates – Ms. Teresa Bender, City Clerk <br /> <br />There were no staff updates. <br /> <br />2. Committee Member Updates <br /> <br />a. Fete des Lacs Logo Contest - Committee Member Akpan <br /> <br />Winners of the Logo Contest, which ends on May 8th, will need to be determined prior to summer <br />stnd <br />vacation. There will be a 1 Place Winner, 2 Place Winner, and a Honorable Mention from both <br />the Elementary and Middle schools. Mayor D. Love will be presenting awards to the winners. <br /> <br />Ms. Lonnie Olson will be sending copies of all the entries from both the elementary and middle <br />schools to each committee member via email. Each committee member should select their top <br />five entries from both the elementary and the middle schools. Then a sub-committee comprised <br />of Committee Members Akpan, Errickson-Grahek and Fuchs will get together to pick the top three <br />entries from each school. The first-place winners will have their logo printed on the shirts for the <br />5k/8k Runs and will also be used as part of the Fete des Lacs flyer. <br /> <br />b. Music in the Park – Committee Member Peterson <br /> <br />All the slots have been filled, some with returning bands and others with new bands.
