CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 24-0XX <br /> <br /> <br />REQUESTING THE USE OF HRA FUNDS <br />FOR EDA LOCAL BUSINESS ASSISTANCE GRANT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) has segregated <br />funding for economic development, housing, and redevelopment purposes for the City of <br />Centerville; and <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to use HRA resources in an amount of $8,137.50 to provide a 50% <br />match, as part of their Revolving Loan and Grant program, for façade enhancements; and <br />WHEAREAS, the enhancements are for an upgraded decorative fence at the St. Genevieve <br />Church, located at 7087 Goiffon Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the enhancement activities are an eligible use in the CityÓs Revolving Loan and <br />Grand program guidelines; and <br />WHEREAS, the facade enhancements are part of a strategy to leverage local revitalization <br />efforts to promote economic development in Centerville. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of July 2024 by the City Council of the City of <br />Centerville. <br />_____________ ________________ <br />City Clerk Mayor, D.
