<br /> <br />Administrator’s Report <br /> <br />April 24, 2024 <br /> <br />PARKS & RECREATION <br />Earth Day <br />The city’s waste hauler, Republic Services, wants to remind <br />you to celebrate Earth Day on April 22. <br /> <br />Annual Parks Cleanup <br />The Committee will be holding their annual Parks Cleanup <br />on Saturday, April 27, 2024. If you would like to join them, <br />they would appreciate the help. Meet at City Hall at 9 a.m. <br />Safety vests, rubber gloves and garbage bags will be <br />provided. The <br />Committee would <br />like to thank in <br />advance the <br />Centennial Little <br />League who will <br />be cleaning up <br />LaMotte Park on April 22, 2024, and the Scouts who will be <br />th <br />assisting them on the 27. <br /> <br />Annual Fete des Lacs Logo Contest <br />“Shoot for the Moon” is this year’s theme. Contest entry forms <br />have been forwarded to the Centennial Middle School and <br />Centerville Elementary School for kids to enter through their art <br />classes. There are entry forms at City Hall for all home-schooled <br />students also. These prizes will be given to students of the appropriate age groups <br />that have entered and their entries have been chosen to win by a sub-committee of the Parks & Recreation <br />st <br />Committee. The two 1 Place logos will be utilized on the 5/8K Run T-Shirts and marketing associated with <br />the festival. <br /> <br />CENTERVILLE CARES <br />Minnesota Prescription Assistance Program <br />If you or someone you know is struggling to pay for prescription <br />medications, there are resources available that can help. <br />Minnesota Drug Card is a free statewide prescription assistance program <br />that is available to all Minnesota residents. The program launched in 2008 <br />to help uninsured and underinsured Minnesota residents pay for prescription <br />medications. This program helps with medications that are covered by <br />insurance, as well as medications that are not.
