City of Centerville EDA Meeting Minutes September 16, 2024 1. Bills a. Check List Executive Director Lewis reviewed the bills as presented in the packet. Motion by Commissioner Mosher and seconded by Commissioner Taylor to approve the bills as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. 2. Communications a. None VI. PRESENTATION a. None VII. REPORTS 1. Partner Agency Reports a. Anoka County Regional Economic Development (ACRED) Executive Director Lewis reviewed the report as presented in the packet. 2. Year to Date Financials Executive Director Lewis reviewed the financial report as presented in the packet. Motion by Commissioner Swenson and seconded by Commissioner Taylor to approve the financial report as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. 3. Ongoing Programs: Executive Director Lewis reviewed the Ongoing Programs report as presented in the packet. Discussion ensued about the Center Stage program and ways to increase participation; suggestions include marketing via email blasts, Admin Reports, and social media. 4. AdministratorÓs Report Executive Director Lewis reviewed the AdministratorÓs Report as presented in the packet. VIII. OLD BUSINESS 1. None IX. NEW BUSINESS 1. Outdoor Lighting Perspectives - Agreement Executive Director Lewis introduced the item as presented, noting that a revision to the agreement, clarifying per year pricing has been added. Discussion ensued about the lights and service. The agreement indicates that the lights are white, but they should be multi-colored. Executive Director Lewis noted that she would ensure this change is made prior to signing the agreement. The lighting is only for the tree in front of City Hall. The Board also discussed having the lights installed on st the tree after October 31, with the option to have them uninstalled at the beginning of February or later. Ћ
