϶ <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Centerville Public Display Policy <br /> <br />OVERVIEW <br />Objective <br />This policy aims to set a standard of procedure for requesting decorative lighting of municipal <br />facilities. The City of Centerville reserves the right to refuse any decorative lighting requests at <br />the CityÓs sole discretion. <br />Scope <br />This policy applies to all external requests to City staff for decorative lighting of city facilities. <br />Definitions <br />City Hall, a facility where city business is conducted and where city boards and commissions <br />hold monthly meetings. The building is located at 1880 Main Street. <br />Fire Station #3, a facility that serves as administrative offices for Centennial Fire Department <br />staff and emergency response vehicles. The building is located at 1800 Main Street. <br />Public Works - a facility where city operations are conducted and where city infrastructure is <br />stored. The building is located at 2085 W Cedar Street. <br />Public Art Î Focal pieces with architectural interest that are in public spaces around the city. <br />Public art includes but is not limited to statues, monuments, memorials, etc. <br />I. Responsibilities and Expectations <br />The city will approve the following schedule, annually, for the display of decorative lighting on <br />the aforementioned facilities. to observe an event, historical figure, or cultural observation. This <br />list is not exhaustive, and the city council may approve the use of decorative lighting for other <br />celebrations or days of recognition at their discretion. <br />City Observances: <br /> New YearÓs Day <br /> Rev.
