City of Centerville <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />December 03, 2024 <br /> <br />information about the Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning meeting schedule to the Commission, so <br />they can monitor activity on the proposed project. <br /> <br />Administrator Statz reviewed the conclusions and recommendations outlined in the staff memo, <br />which are: <br />th <br />1. A trail should be considered along the west side of 20 Avenue between the southern border <br />of Lino Lakes and the entrance road to the development. <br />2. The east-west road through the high-density townhome area should be designed to handle <br />traffic from the future of the development area directly to the west. <br />3. Further information on the uses proposed for the lakeside park should be provided. <br />4. It is assumed that Gordon Ave. North will connect to Mill Road, through the undeveloped <br />area, at some point in the future. A trail connection through that area should be planned as <br />well. It should be clarified what happens to Peltier Lake Drive in the interim (i.e. will it be <br />ended?). <br />The Commission supports the recommendations outlined by staff. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Nelson, seconded by Commissioner Olson to authorize <br />submittal of the comments, outlined in the staff memo, on the Peltier Ponds proposal in Lino <br />Lakes. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />2. Table of Allowed Uses Î Consider Amending Chapter 156: Zoning Ordinance <br />Discussion ensued about tabling this item until the next meeting. <br />Motion by Commissioner Nelson, seconded by Commissioner Olson to table this item to <br />the next meeting. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. November 12, 2024, Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes <br />Administrator Statz introduced this item as presented in the packet. There were not any revisions. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Thompson, seconded by Commissioner Kalina to approve the <br />November 12, 2024, minutes. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />IV. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br />1. Council Member Russ Koski <br />Council Member Koski did not provide a report. <br />AdministratorÓs Report <br />Administrator Statz reviewed the report as presented in the packet. <br />V.
