CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RES. #25-0___ <br />Resolution Ordering Preparation of Feasibility Report on Improvement <br />2025 Thin Overlay Street Improvements <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve LaMotte Drive and Heritage Street west of Centerville <br />st <br />Road, Center Oaks 1 Addition (Center Street west of Dupre Road, Tourville Circle, Oak Circle <br />and Pheasant Lane), Brian Drive (Main Street to Brian Court), Peltier Circle, Old Mill Road (north <br />of Revoir Street), and Shad Avenue with a thin asphalt overlay and to assess the benefitting <br />properties for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statues, <br />Chapter 429. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CENTERVILLE, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />That the proposed improvements, called the 2025 Thin Overlay Street Improvements be referred <br />to Stantec for study and that they are instructed to report to the council with all convenient speed <br />advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvements are necessary, <br />cost-effective, and feasible; whether the improvements should be made as proposed or in <br />connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvements as <br />recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for <br />affected parcels. <br /> <br />nd <br />Adopted by the council this 22 day of January 2025. <br />Mayor <br />_____________________________ <br />City Clerk <br />212 <br /> <br />
