Must have the ability to <br />tailor the message to the audience so it is relatable and <br />informative. <br />• Solid mentoring and human resources experience that continues <br />to develop the existing staff to support their professional growth <br />y and outstanding level of service delivery. <br />• Possesses high social and emotional intelligence/empathy while <br />engaging with the community, commissions, and Council. <br />• A strong collaborator that has experience in negotiating, creating, <br />!-M-1 and managing contracts and joint powers agreements. <br />• Is knowledgeable and experienced in the basic principles of service <br />delivery, development and planning, parks and recreation, finance, <br />budgeting, public safety, and human resources. <br />r • Demonstrates an understanding of information technology and will <br />ensure it is incorporated appropriately into service delivery, <br />information sharing, and public access. <br />e. 6 <br />Ability to explain issues or positions in a professional manner <br />without creating divisiveness.
