Election of Chair <br />Administrator Statz introduced the item as presented in the packet. Commissioner Nelson <br />nominated Commissioner Kalina to be the Chair. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Nelson, seconded by Commissioner Seppala to nominate <br />Commissioner Kalina to be the Chair. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. Election of Vice Chair <br />Administrator Statz introduced the item as presented in the packet. Commissioner Thompson <br />nominated Commissioner Krueger to be the Vice Chair. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Thompson, seconded by Commissioner Olson to nominate <br />Commissioner Krueger to be the Vice Chair. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as presented. There were no changes to the agenda, but there was <br />mention of a redline version of the Downtown Master Plan being added in the packet. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Kalina, seconded by Commissioner Krueger to Approve the <br />Agenda. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARING (6:30 PM or shortly thereafter) <br />1. None <br /> <br />V. AWARDS, PRESENTATIONS, APPEARANES <br />1. None <br /> <br />VI. OLD BUSINESS <br />1. Downtown Master Plan and Development Guidelines <br />Administrator Statz introduced this item, noting that the redline version of the document has been <br />added to the packet. Administrator Statz noted that the primary changes, which are shown in the <br />redline version of the document, are definitions, changing densities in M-1 and M-2. The M-1 <br />district would have a maximum height of 35ft with maximum of three (3) stories. The M-2 district <br />would have a maximum of two (2) stories, and 12-30 units. Administrator Statz added that the <br />revisions make it clear that parking is to be provided on site and that we would not initially rely on <br />shared parking. Language was added about guest parking in public facilities or on street or on <br />surface lots provided by the development; Administrator Statz noted that parking demand will be <br />market driven and subject to individual review.
