City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />April 9, 2025 <br />The consensus was to table the item for more information regarding costs versus completing in sections <br />and a regular maintenance program. <br />Motion by Council Member Kubat, seconded by Mayor Golden, to table the Sanitary Sewer <br />Cleaning and Televising Engineering Services Proposal from Stantec and have staff bring back <br />additional information regarding the costs of an on-going maintenance, a proposal for a phasing in <br />sections of the sewer system or doing the whole system, time frame the cost for renting verses buying <br />the equipment. Roll Call: Mayor Golden, Council Members, Kubat, Koski, Rios in favor. Council <br />Member Mosher was unable to vote due to technical issues. Motion carried. <br /> <br />X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMETS <br /> <br />Administrator/Engineer Report Î Interim Administrator Lewis stated that the report was <br />contained in the packet and provided Council with a brief review. She stated that the solar panels <br />were installed. <br /> <br />1. Council Report <br /> <br />a. Kubat - <br />(i) Parks & Recreation Committee Î Council Member Kubat reported on the pickleball <br />courts projects with a final plan coming soon. He stated that the plan was to go minimalist <br />and do some striping for the nets for now and look at investments in other things as the <br />courts are being used more. He stated that RFPs play equipment at Laurie LaMotte <br />Memorial Park had been received. He also reported that P & R was presented with an Eagle <br />Scout project that gave statistics of park usage. He thanked Mr. Luke Peterson and his <br />volunteers for the project. <br /> <br />(ii) Centennial Fire District Steering Committee Î Council Member Kubat gave no report. <br />(iii) Planning & Zoning Commission - Council Member Kubat stated that they talked about <br />the two main items that were brought before Council this evening. He stated that additional <br />discussion would be held regarding interpretation of the City Code related to definitions, <br />yards and accessory structures. <br /> <br />b. Koski <br /> (i) Planning & Zoning Commission Î Council Member Koski gave no report and thanked <br />Council Member Kubat for attending. <br />(ii) Centennial Fire District Steering Committee Î Council Member Koski stated that there <br />was an upcoming meeting and asked Interim City Administrator Lewis to obtain meeting <br />location. She stated that the meeting would be held at Station #3. <br />(iii) Anoka County Fire Protection Council Î Council Member Koski gave no report. <br /> <br />c. Rios - <br />(i) Economic Development Authority Î Council Member Rios gave no report. <br /> <br />d.
