City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />June 11, 2025 <br /> <br />things as PTSD and other exposures that individuals in these positions may experience. <br />She reported that a 35-year-old firefighter from Amboy, MN recently passed in the line of <br />duty, Andrew Karels. She stated that he is survived by his wife and two children. <br /> <br />Mayor Golden reported that there would be a Special Council meeting on June 12, 2025. <br />She stated that there would be a tour of city infrastructure(s) and prominent locations within <br />the city which would commence at 10 a.m. to noon. Mayor Golden stated that previous <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers would be acting in the capacity of resident ambassador <br />guiding the tour. Mayor Golden stated that following the tour, the Council would be <br />meeting at Centennial Fire District, Station #3 to interview three candidates for the City <br />Administrator position. Following the interview sessions, council would be meeting in <br />Council Chambers for discussion and possible motion for hiring a new City Administrator. <br />She stated that that portion of the meeting would be closed except for the motion. <br /> <br />f. Jr. Council Member Wynn Î Jr. Council Member Wynn stated that the last day of school was <br />the previous Thursday, and graduation would be held Saturday at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium. <br />rd <br />She stated that girls flag football placed 3 at state on Monday. She reported that the boys and <br />girls track was held on Tuesday and would also be held on Thursday of this week. She stated that <br />the Peru Trip leaves Monday or Tuesday. Mayor Golden congratulated the 2025 graduates. <br /> <br />g. Attorney Glaser Î Attorney Glaser gave no report. <br /> <br />XI. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Mayor Golden to adjourn the meeting of June 11, <br />2025, at 7:31 p.m. Roll-Call: Council Members Koski, Mosher, Rios and Mayor Golden.
