CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Golden called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />1. Roll Call <br /> <br />Not Approved <br />PRESENT: Mayor Nancy Golden <br />Council Member Russ Koski <br />Council Member Anita Rios <br />Council Member David Kubat <br />Council Member Darrin Mosher (via zoom) <br /> <br />ABSENT: Junior Council Member Sophie Wynn (Non-Voting) <br /> <br />STAFF: Interim City Administrator, Athanasia Lewis <br /> City Attorney, Kurt Glaser <br /> Engineer, Kellie Schlegel <br /> <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Golden provided an opportunity for staff and council to add or delete items <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Rios to Approve the Set Agenda <br />as presented. Roll-Call: Mayor Golden, Council Members Koski, Kubat, Mosher and Rios in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />IV. APPOINTMENTS & PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />1.U of M Î Empowering Small Minnesota Communities Programs <br /> <br />Interim City Administrator Lewis stated that the U of M will be completing a presentation on the <br />Empowering Small Minnesota CommunitiesÓ Program. <br /> <br />Ms. Ursala Lang, U of M, introduced herself to the council. She provided a brief background of her <br />credentials and reviewed several handouts with the Council. Ms. Lang reported that the State Legislature <br />funded the program in 2023 with the intent of connecting small communities in greater Minnesota with <br />support, capacity, new perspective, to think in a more coordinated fashion about infrastructure. She <br />addressed several questions asked by the Council and stated that a kick-off meeting was scheduled for <br />July 8, 2025, with monthly meetings being scheduled at a later date. <br /> <br />V.PUBLIC HEARING <br />Page 2 of 8 <br /> <br />40 <br /> <br />
