Summer Programs <br />Music in the Park finished this yearÓs concert series. Over the last couple of months, attendance has been <br />exceptional and to finish up the season, approximately 100 attendees came out to listen to the Minneapolis <br />Senior Commodores Big Band. The Parks and Recreation Committee would like to thank everyone who <br />enjoyed this summer program, and the committee would also like to thank Parks and Rec Committee Member <br />Brian Peterson for heading up these events. <br /> <br />Main Street Market finished <br />their six-week run with KidsÓ <br />Night on Thursday evening. <br />Approximately 300 individuals <br />participated with six food <br />vendors and 11 artesian/crafters <br />on hand. The committee would <br />like to thank Committee <br />Members Fuchs and Loomis for <br />assisting with the bounce house <br />and games; Chair Errickson- <br />Grahek has been on hand for all of the events with the exception <br />of one. The Parks and Recreation Committee would like to thank volunteers Suzanne Seeley, Ted Carlson <br />and resident Angela Conley, Main Street Market Coordinator, for all her hard work. In addition, the Parks <br />Committee would like to thank the Public Works staff for delivering, setting up and picking up items used <br />for both Music in the Park and Main Street Market. <br /> <br />Movie in the Park <br />At the Parks & Recreation Committee meeting of August 6, <br />2025, they chose the movie ÐThe Wild RobotÑ for their <br />annual Movie in the Park scheduled for September 13, with <br />a rain date of September 20, 2025. The movie will be shown <br />at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park, 6970 LaMotte Drive, <br />commencing at sunset (approx. 7:30-8 p.m.). The Parks and <br />Recreation Committee will be on site to assist you with any <br />questions that you may have, and to provide participants with <br />free lemonade/hot chocolate and popcorn. Please bring your <br />lawn chairs, blankets, etc. Invite your family, friends, kids, etc. <br /> <br />CENTENNIAL FIRE DISTRIC IS HIRING <br />The Centennial Fire District is currently hiring for Paid On-Call positions. <br />60 <br /> <br /> <br />
