CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:30p.m. <br /> <br />1. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as presented, with mention of a revised certificate of survey (handout) <br />for the variance request for 7239 Main Street. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Krueger, seconded by Commissioner Olson to Approve the Agenda. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARING (6:30 PM or shortly thereafter) <br />1. Chapter 156 Zoning Ordinance & Table of Allowed Uses (Tabled at last <br />meeting <br />City Planner Phil Carlson introduced this item in the packet as presented, reviewing his memo, <br />which outlines proposed changes to definitions related to yard, required yard, setbacks, etc., as <br />well as placement of accessory structures and inclusion of provisions for lakeshore lots. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued about placement of accessory structures, i.e. in front of or behind the house. <br />Phil asked the Commission where they would like to see detached accessory structures (garage). <br />Discussion also ensued about corner lots having two front yards and no rear yard.
