Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park
The City of Centerville already offers excellent parks and recreation opportunities. Adding an RC car track would
be a valuable complement to these amenities, creating a unique attraction within the city's open park spaces. This
project directly supports Centerville's goals of enhancing family -friendly recreation, expanding outdoor
opportunities, and fostering community engagement. An RC track would provide a safe, structured outlet for
hobbyists, while also giving older children and teens (ages 10+) an exciting, healthy outdoor activity. In doing so,
Centerville can continue to lead in offering diverse recreational experiences that strengthen its identity as a family -
oriented community.
Thanks!
From: Heidi Grahek <hgrahekcentervillemn@gmail.com>
Sent: Friday, August 22, 2025 12:16 PM
To: Justin Durrant <justin@durrantfamily.com>
Cc: Teresa Sender <TBender@centervillemn.com>
Subject: idea
Hi Justin,
