City of Centerville City Council Meeting Minutes July 23, 2025 this but not to include this into the motion. X.COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMETS Administrator Report Î Administrator Lewis stated that the report was contained in the packet and provided Council with a brief review. 1.Council Report a.KubatÎ Parks & Recreation Committee Î Council Member Kubat gave no report. (i)Centennial Fire District Steering Committee Î Council Member Kubat gave no report. (ii)Planning & Zoning Commission - Council Member Kubat gave no report. b.Koski- (i)Planning & Zoning Commission Î Council Member Koski stated the next P & Z meeting was scheduled for August 12, 2025. (ii)Centennial Fire District Steering Committee Î Council Member Koski stated that there was a special meeting on August 6, 2025. He stated that the Steering Committee attended the departmentÓs recent training to discuss options for ongoing services through SBM and that it was well attended. He also reported that the Circle Pines City Council was in attendance. Council Member Koski stated that he felt that there was a good exchange of information between all and that the committee wanted to assure firefighters of their options/decisions and that a high level of services would remain to be provided to the community. (iii)Anoka County Fire Protection Council Î Council Member Koski gave no report. c.Rios- (i)Economic Development Authority Î Council Member Rios stated that she had reported on EDA at the last meeting and thank those businesses that participated in providing swag for the EDA bags that were given out at Fete des Lacs. Council Member Rios reports that Junior Council Member Wynn served at a recent Main Street Market and handed out the bags. She stated that Main Street Marekt gets bigger and better every year. Council Member Rios stated that she felt that it was one of the most successful markets that she had been to and thanked all individuals involved in its organization. She thanked all of the volunteers associated with Fete des Lacs. e.GoldenÎ (i)Centennial Lakes Police Department Governing Board Î Mayor Golden stated next the meeting would be on August 11, 2025. (i)North Metro Telecommunications Commission Î Mayor Golden reported that the commission met on July 16, 2025, and that they passed their 2026 budget. Page 5 of 6 12
