CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />December 11, 2025 <br />Administration <br />IV. <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Downtown Redevelopment Master Plan - Centerville Vision Scope <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />The Planning & Zoning Commission meeting discussed the Downtown Redevelopment Master Plan at their <br />October meeting, evaluating questions, such as the following: <br />•How does the Redevelopment Plan’s vision align with Centerville's current needs/desires? <br />•What is working for the City? <br />•What is not working? What areas could be modified or removed? <br />The Commission recommend approving the attached visioning scope of work to help the City address <br />longstanding questions about land use in the project area. The work will complement, not duplicate, efforts <br />planned for the upcoming Imagine 2050 Comprehensive Plan update.
