City of Centerville <br />Parks & Recreation Meeting <br />June 4, 2025 <br />run coordination. She stated that everything was going well and that the mileage was checked due <br />to the newly constructedlocation of the trailat the Rice Creek Chain of Lake entrance. <br />Chairperson Errickson-Grahekstated that the paddle event was scheduled for Sunday, of Fete des <br />Lacs at 11:00 a.m. <br />2.Scout Request for Use of Hidden Spring Park <br />City Clerk Bender stated that there has never been an issue with the Scout’s use of City facilities <br />and that they are good stewards of the community. <br />Motion by Chairperson Errickson-Grahek, seconded by Committee Member Akpanto <br />recommend to Council approval of the Scout’s Use of Hidden Spring Park as presented. All <br />in favor. Motion carried. <br />VII.APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1.None. <br />VIII.UPDATES/ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />1.Staff Updates –Ms. Teresa Bender, City Clerk <br />a.Main Street Market – She stated that they had another food vendor registerand <br />reported on aCommunity Night as a Themed event for the Market. <br />2.Committee Member Updates –Committee Member <br />a.Disc Golf– Chairperson Errickson-Grahek stated that the disc golf course was <br />scheduled to be late July or early August. <br />b.LaMotte Play Structure – Chairperson Errickson-Grahek stated that the play <br />structure was approved by Council and thanked the Council, Engineer and Legal <br />Counsel for all of their input and assistance. <br /> <br />c.Music in the Park – Committee Member Petersonreviewed the upcoming <br />schedule for Music in the Park – stating that Rebel River was recommended by <br />former coordinator Mr. Tom Leeand that WiseGuys was scheduled for the vendor <br />the evening of Fete des Lacs. <br />3.Council Liaison Updates –Council Liaison Kubat thanked the committee for all of their <br />hard work, the presentation of the disc golf course, and the tree plan.
