<br />SBM FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />SBM crews responded to a structure fire in Centerville over the weekend. At approximately <br />12:00 a.m., crews were dispatched to a confirmed structure fire. SBM units responded to the <br />scene along with crews from Hugo and Lino Lakes. Responders arrived on scene within six <br />minutes. Fortunately, nobody was injured. Special thanks to the SBM staff and our mutual <br />aid partners <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS <br />Well # 1 Rehabilitation Project <br />The City of Centerville is currently working with local well contractor Traut Companies to complete a Well <br />Maintenance project on the city's Well #1. Phase I of the project is now complete and includes: inspecting <br />and testing the infrastructure such as the well's pump and motor unit and the water delivery piping system. <br />th <br />Phase II starts the week of February 8 and includes replacing well components experiencing wear and tear <br />and maintaining the well itself by removing sediment at the well's base. Well projects are completed <br />approximately every 20 years or when the longevity of equipment requires maintenance and replacement. <br /> <br />The City of Centerville is committed to providing the community with highly functioning water resources. <br />The city operates under the Minnesota Department of Health and the Department of Natural Resources rules <br />and guidelines to provide quality water supplies to the residents and businesses within Centerville. Please <br />direct questions regarding this project or other public works projects to Public Works Director Charles Lehn. <br /> <br />CENTENNIAL LAKES POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />The Centennial Lakes Police Department is hiring for a police officer and a community service officer (CSO). <br />Please contact CLPD at (763)-427-1212 for additional information. <br /> <br />PARKS & RECREATION <br />The second Skate/Sled night is scheduled for February 13, 2026, <br />from 6:30-9:00 at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park. Kick sleds and <br />snowshoes will be provided by Wargo Nature Center.
