<br />First annual community-wide celebration of winter will occur between February 13-21, 2026 <br />A wide range of activities will get residents out to enjoy the <br />winter season and support local businesses. Activities will be <br />provided by local businesses, civic organizations, and Anoka <br />County, with fun for all ages. Event highlights include a <br />coloring contest, a candlelight walk, a drink tour, a community <br />campfire, and a medallion hunt. Medallion Hunt clues begin <br />on Monday, February 16th, with a cash prize of $500 <br />(coordinated and donated by Renstrom Dental Lab). See the <br />growing list of activities below. Ticket sales <br />start at 9:00a.m. The fishing contest is from 11:00a.m-2:00p.m. <br />with final weigh-in at 2:00p.m. <br /> <br />This event offers something for everyone. There will be a <br />same-day cash raffle, door prizes, goody bags for the kids, and <br />much more. <br /> <br />To learn more about this event, please visit the Centerville Lions website at: www.centervillelions.com. <br /> <br /> <br />PLANNING & ZONING <br />At their February 4 Commission meeting, the <br />Commission reviewed a concept plan for the <br />Woods of Old Mill. <br /> <br />The developer of Old Mill Estates 1st and 2nd <br />Additions (lots on Old Mill Ct. and Laramee <br />Ln., respectively) is interested in developing <br />the 3rd and final phase of the Old Mill Estates <br />development.
