PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Administrator Lewis stated that each Council person had received a revised, Set Agenda. The Set Agenda <br />added City of Centerville Claims through October 23, 2025 (E2516-2543, Check #37920-37950 & Voided <br />Check #37926) under Consent Agenda, Item #1, Encroachment Agreement – 1764 Steven Lane – (Fence) <br />under Consent Agenda, Item #6 and **New Assessment Roll Reflecting Comm/Public/Institutional Rate <br />from $8.38/LF to $5.67/LF* Under VII. Old Business, Item #1. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Kubat, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers to Approve <br />the Set Agenda as presented. Roll call: Mayor Golden, Acting Mayor Koski, Council Members <br />Broussard Vickers, and Kubat. Motion carried. <br /> <br />IV. APPOINTMENTS & PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />1. None. <br /> <br />V. PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />1. Special Assessments – 2025 Thin Mill & Overlay Project <br />City Engineer Schlegel reviewed a notice of hearing on the Proposed Assessment, which was sent to all <br />impacted property owners. She stated that council would make time for public comments and then <br />consider the proposed assessment. Engineer Schlegel stated that the total amount of the proposed <br />assessments was $90,736.38, with the City’s assessments being $3,192.21 for City property. She also <br />stated that the remaining costs of the project would be paid by the City ($350,490.52). <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Koski asked why the linear foot fee decreased, and City Engineer Schlegel stated it was <br />based on the total project cost. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Koski opened the Public Hearing at 6:43 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Edward Furness, 6926 Tourville Circle, stated that he was confused after receiving a letter along with <br />several of his neighbors.
