Engineer Schlegel stated that the benefiting property owners were being assessed 20.86% and <br />that the city has had a long-standing policy for street projects and assessments for benefit property owners. <br /> <br />Following a call for public input and none being received. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Kubat to Close the <br />Public Hearing at 6:53 p.m. Roll call: Mayor Golden, Acting Mayor Koski, Council Members <br />Broussard Vickers, and Kubat. Motion carried. <br /> <br />I. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />1. City of Centerville Claims through October 23, 2025 (E2516-E2543, Checks #37920-37950 <br />& Voided Check #37926) <br />2. Centennial Lakes Police Department Claims through October 9, 2025 (Check #15886- <br />15915, E2025060 – E2025076 & Payroll Checks $15887-15889) <br />3. Centennial Fire District Claims through October 14, 2025 (Check #9985-9991 & <br />E2025011). <br />4. Vividly Clean, LLC Cleaning Contract (P.W. & Admin Offices) <br />5. Encroachment Agreement – 6860 Depre Road – (Fence) <br />6. Encroachment Agreement – 1764 Steven Lane – (Fence) <br />7. Embedded Systems – Siren Maintenance, 2026 ($49.97/month/siren) <br />Acting Mayor Koski provided an opportunity for members to remove items for additional discussion. <br />Acting Mayor Koski requested that Consent Agenda Items #5 & 6 be removed for additional discussion. <br />Motion by Council Member Kubat, seconded by Council Member Brossard Vickers to Approve <br />Consent Agenda Items #1-4 and #7 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. Roll call: Mayor <br />Golden, Acting Mayor Koski, Council Members Broussard-Vickers, and Kubat. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Koski commented that encroachment agreements allow fences and other items to be <br />constructed within the City’s rights-of-way/drainage/utility easements with the understanding that if the <br />city were to gain entrance, the item(s) allowed would be removed at the homeowner’s expense either by <br />them or by the city. <br />Motion by Council Member Kubat, seconded by Broussard Vickers to Approve Consent Agenda <br />Items #5 & #6 as presented.
