<br />AdministratorÓs Report <br /> <br />March 26, 2026 <br />ADMINISTRATION <br />Anoka County Property Tax Statements <br />The County has mailed property tax statements to Centerville residents. <br />Property Taxes Payable in 2026 and Valuation Notices (2026 Value that <br />taxes will be based on in 2027). For general questions about these <br />statements, Anoka County has an online resource at: <br />https://www.anokacounty.us/281/About-Your-Tax-Statements. <br /> <br />Regarding the Valuation Notice: If you believe the valuation or <br />classification of your property is incorrect, call the Centerville City <br />Assessor, Mary Wells at 763-412-1966, Ext #1 to discuss it. Many issues <br />can be resolved with a phone call to the Assessor. There is also a formal <br />appeal option, which is at the Centerville Local Board of Appeal & <br />Equalization meeting, held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., or <br />shortly thereafter, at Centerville City Hall in Council Chambers. If you <br />plan to appear at this meeting to appeal your property valuation, please call <br />Mary Wells ahead of time so she can research your questions prior to the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Downton Visioning Study <br />Bolten & Menk, the CityÓs planning firm, will present an overview of resident input <br />th <br />at the March 26 City Council meeting. They will also present a couple of <br />development scenarios based on the input received. The CityÓs planner will also <br />attend the next U of MN ESMC advisory committee meeting to present to them as <br />well. <br /> <br />The next ESMC Advisory Committee <br />th <br />meeting will be held on April 9 at <br />6:00PM at City Hall. The U of MN staff <br />are studying the public realm and are <br />working to identify access and circulation issues in the project area. The CityÓs Planner will also be present <br />to provide an update on their scope of work related to land-use planning. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />There is a vacancy on the City Council.
