<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />WORK SESSION & CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 26, 2026 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville City Council held its regularly scheduled <br />Work Session at 5:00 p.m. and City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m., in Council Chambers. The regularly <br />scheduled meeting (6:30 p.m.) was live-streamed by North Metro TV. <br />WORK SESSION MEETING <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br />Not Approved <br />1. Roll Call <br />PRESENT: Mayor Nancy Golden <br />Council Member Russ Koski <br />Council Member Anita Rios <br />Council Member Kubat <br />Council Member Linda Broussard Vickers (via zoom with audio issues) <br />Junior Council Member Garrett Schneider (Non-Voting) <br />ABSENT: None <br />STAFF: City Administrator, Athanasia Lewis <br /> City Attorney, Kurt Glaser <br />Mayor Golden called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br />II. ITEMS OF DISCUSSION <br />1. Water Interconnection with Lino Lakes <br />City Administrator Lewis provided council with an update on the issue stating that letters had been <br />forwarded to the City, staff had met with their representatives, and she stated that they are unwilling to <br />take any responsibility regarding the matter or compromise on the value of the water. It was discussed <br />that the Joint Powers Agreement terms needed to be reviewed and amended and that City Attorney Glaser <br />would participate in language amendments. <br />2. 2026 Legislative Priorities <br />City Administrator Lewis reviewed the CouncilÓs priorities and requested guidance regarding new items. <br />She stated that the importance was that the League of MN Cities Day on the Hill was upcoming and an <br />opportunity for staff and council to discuss the items with Representative Engen and Senator Gustafson. <br />3. 2050 Comprehensive Plan <br />36 <br /> <br />
