<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />WORK SESSION & CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MARCH 26, 2026 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville City Council held its regularly scheduled <br />Work Session at 5:00 p.m. and City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m., in Council Chambers. The regularly <br />scheduled meeting (6:30 p.m.) was live streamed by North Metro TV. <br />WORK SESSION MEETING <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br />1. Roll Call <br />Not Approved <br />PRESENT: Mayor Nancy Golden <br />Councilmember Linda Broussard Vickers (via Zoom) <br />Council Member Anita Rios <br />Junior Council Member Garrett Schneider (Non-Voting) <br />ABSENT: Council Member Russ Koski <br />STAFF: City Administrator, Athanasia Lewis <br /> City Attorney, Kurt Glaser <br /> Public Works Director, Charlie Lehn <br />Mayor Golden called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br />II. ITEMS OF DISCUSSION <br />1. Council Adopted Tree Plan <br />City Administrator Lewis reviewed the information contained in council’s packet. <br />A discussion ensued regarding the four-year tree plan, the first-year trees that were not planted, the cost <br />difference between inhouse installations verses having Gerten’s installation, the size of the trees verses <br />bareroot trees, the types of trees, and the Parks & Recreation committee support for inhouse installation. <br />2. Schedule Strategic Planning <br />City Administrator Lewis stated that council’s Strategic Planning sessions have been rescheduled in the <br />past due to illness and vacancies. She explained that she was seeking council’s direction on scheduling a <br />date to complete the planning session. <br />Lengthy discussion ensued regarding the importance of the Strategic Plan for the city, the goals of council <br />and vision going forward. It was determined to schedule the session for Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 8 <br />a.m. – 1:00 p.m. <br /> <br />
