City of Centerville <br />Work Session & City Council Meeting Minutes <br />March 26, 2026 <br />Administrator Lewis stated that this would be for the purchase of an auger that would be used for tree <br />planting and other items at a cost of $6,053. <br />Motion by Council Member Rios, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers to approve a <br />total of $6,053 for the purchase of an auger, mount, and auger bit to complete year one and year <br />two tree plantings in the City’s park system per plan. Roll Call: Mayor Golden, Council Members <br />Broussard Vickers, and Rios in favor. Motion carried. <br />2. Res. #26 – 0XX – Transfer of Funds (Fund #351, 601, 602, 603 – Out, and Fund #101 <br /> & 409 – In) <br />City Administrator Lewis reviewed the information that was contained in Council’s packet. <br />Motion by Council Member Rios, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers to adopt <br />Resolution #26-005 - Authorizing the Transfers as submitted. Roll Call: Mayor Golden, Council <br />Members Broussard Vickers, and Rios in favor. Motion carried. <br />X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />1. Administrator Report – Administrator Lewis stated that the report was contained in the packet <br />for the Council’s review and that she would take questions. <br />2. Council Report <br />a. Vacant – <br />(i) Centennial Fire District Committee <br />b. Koski - <br /> (i) Planning & Zoning Commission – Council Member Koski gave no report. <br /> (ii) Centennial Fire District Steering Committee – Council Member Koski gave no report. <br /> (iii) Anoka County Fire Protection Council – Council Member Koski gave no report. <br />c. Rios - <br />(i) Economic Development Authority – Council Member Rios gave no report. <br />(ii) Parks & Recreation Committee – Council Member Rios gave no report. <br />(ii)North Metro Telecommunications Commission – Council Member Rios stated that she <br />attended the meeting on behalf of Mayor Golden. She stated that the commission approved <br />the 2026 Franchise Fees to cities with Centerville receiving $3,500. She also stated that <br />on April 15, 2026, the commission and Operations committee would be meeting for a <br />strategic planning session. <br />d. Broussard Vickers – <br /> (i) Parks & Recreation Committee – Council Member Broussard Vickers attended the <br />meeting and most of the items that were talked about were on the agenda, the various <br />permits for upcoming events and the bareroot trees allowing them to stretch their budget. <br />Page 4 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
