City of Centerville <br />Work Session & City Council Meeting Minutes <br />March 26, 2026 <br />with both the zoning ordinance and the 2006 Master Downtown Management Plan vision. He reviewed <br />the approach to implementing study recommendations. Mr. Flannery reviewed the mixed -use framework. <br />Discussion ensued regarding the presentation and council member were invited to provide additional <br />comments after the meeting to City Planner Fuerst. <br />V. Strategic Planning Conference <br />Mayor Golden provided an opportunity for members to pull items for additional discussion. <br />Motion by Council Member Rios, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers to Approve <br />Consent Set Agenda as presented. Roll Call: Mayor Golden, Council Members Broussard Vickers, <br />and Rios in favor. Motion carried. <br />VIIL OLD BUSINESS <br />1. Purchase of First- and Second- Year Trees for the Council -Adopted Tree Plan <br />Administrator Lewis stated that the item was discussed at the work session earlier in the evening and that <br />the purchase would be to purchase the first- and second -year trees for the Tree Plan, equipment and to <br />establish a nursery at the Public Works site in an amount not to exceed $15,000. <br />Motion by Council Member Rios, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers to Approve the <br />Parks & Recommendation Committee recommendation to install year one and year two tree <br />plantings according to the Council approved tree plan in the spring of 2026, and also that any <br />unused funds can be used for replacement trees and a tree nursery with the cost not to exceed <br />$15,000. Roll Call: Mayor Golden, Council Members Broussard Vickers, and Rios in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br />IX. NEW BUSINESS <br />1.
