<br />Contract for Race Timing Services <br />This Contract for Race Management/Timing Services (ÐContractÑ) is made effective as of ___________, <br />2026 by and between Running Ventures and City of Centerville Parks & Recreation Committee (ÐRace <br />OrganizerÑ). <br />1. Description of Services. Beginning on the effective date of this Agreement, Running Ventures <br />will provide to Race Organizer the following Race Management Services (collectively, the <br />ÐServicesÑ) in connection with the Fete Des Lacs Races (5k, 8K and Kids Fun Run) to take place <br />on July 18, 2026: <br /> Work in cooperation with appropriate local City/Police Department/Other governmental <br />agencies to secure appropriate permit(s) required for race events <br /> Assist in creating and managing a race budget <br /> Review the route signage, start signage and finish area signage and make recommendations <br />for enhancement <br /> Create comprehensive equipment and supplies lists prior to race day <br /> Meet with local safety officials to develop course safety plans and coordinate public safety <br />staffing <br /> Develop a medical plan to include an onsite protocol for minor medical issues to emergencies <br /> Work with product sponsors specific needs, delivery, and involvement <br /> Design site layout for race day activities <br /> Assist Race Organizer in handling all race registration responsibilities; ensure Running <br />Ventures is granted the proper credentials or exporting/importing data <br /> Assist in runner/participant and volunteer recruitment <br /> Coordinate race day volunteer needs <br /> Coordinate the locations, and setup for all aid stations along the course route <br /> Manage all courses set up, breakdown and activities including water stations, course marshals, <br />signage, medical station locations, road closure and road re-opening programs <br /> Other responsibilities as mutually agreed upon <br /> <br />Race Timing Services: <br />a. Provide individual race timing for all participants using chip timing system <br />b. Produce results in format suitable for posting on web <br />c. Provide results for award purposes onsite if desired by Race Sponsor <br /> <br />Race Organizer will provide grant Running Ventures the proper credentials for exporting/importing <br />participant registration information. Running Ventures will create race database, assign and print <br />bib labels, attach labels to bibs, and make available to Race Organizer in alpha order for packet <br />pick up. <br /> <br />Race Equipment. Race timing includes start/finish line equipment for one start line and one finish <br />line, display clock with stand, and any computer equipment necessary for determining results. <br /> <br />Course Management Services. Layout / mark both 8K and 5k courses per USATF certification or as <br />agreed by Race Organizer. <br />121 <br /> <br />
