City of Centerville <br />Work Session & City Council Meeting Minutes <br />May 14, 2026 <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers to authorize <br />Staff that if items in CIP can be purchased for the amount stated or less, it does not need to come <br />back before Council. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />1. Administrator Report – Administrator Lewis stated that the report was contained in the packet <br />for council’s review and that she would take questions. <br /> <br />2. Council Report <br /> <br />a. Vacant – <br />(i) Centennial Fire District Committee – <br /> <br />b. Koski - <br /> (i) Planning & Zoning Commission – Council Member Koski stated that he had attending <br />the meeting. <br /> (ii) Centennial Fire District Steering Committee – Council Member Koski gave no report. <br /> (iii) Anoka County Fire Protection Council – Council Member Koski gave no report. <br /> <br />c. Rios - <br />(i) Economic Development Authority – Council Member Rios stated that the meeting would <br />be next Wednesday. <br /> <br />d. Broussard Vickers – <br /> <br />(i) Economic Development Authority – Council Member Broussard Vickers gave no report. <br />(ii) Centennial Lakes Police Department Governing Board – Council Member Broussard <br />Vickers stated that there were nine applicants for Police Chief. She stated that interviews <br />would be held in June. She reported that the use of drones was discussed and that they <br />would be utilized for calls. Interviews will be held in June. Drones were brought up and <br />will be utilized for calls and Centerville would be participating in their testing. <br />Administrator Lewis is working to schedule a presentation. <br />(iii) Park & Recreation Committee – Council Member Broussard Vickers stated the <br />committee met regarding the CIP. <br /> <br />e. Golden – <br />(i) Centennial Lakes Police Governing Board – Mayor Golden was unable to attend and <br />apologized to the Council. <br />(ii) North Metro Telecommunications Commission – Mayor Golden stated there was no <br />updated information since the last Council Meeting. <br />(iii) Other Mayoral Reports – Mayor Golden gave an update on the logo contest for the fun <br />runs. <br /> <br />f.
