<br />City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />October 25, 2006 <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that the nominations need to be forwarded to the <br />County Board by November 17, 2006. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra invited residents to forward a letter of interest to the City of Centerville to <br />be eligible. <br /> <br />IX. ANNOUNCEMENTSIUPDATES <br /> <br />1. City Administrator. Mr. Dallas Larson <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser indicated that he and Staff will meet with Mr. Doug Fischer, Anoka <br />County Highway Department, to express concerns and reservations with the proposed <br />Joint Powers Agreement. City Attorney Glaser reported that research indicates that the <br />County has not been consistent with other communities and projects. These <br />inconsistencies will be discussed at that time. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that there have been no viable proposals to relocate <br />the residence at 1601 LaMotte so Staff will take steps to authorize the demolition in the <br />next week. <br /> <br />The City will complete the purchase process on the remaining property at this location on <br />November 21, 2006. <br /> <br />2. CSAH 14 (Update) <br /> <br />3. Downtown Redevelopment <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that the Finance Director is currently working on this <br />project and hopeful that additional grants may be obtained. Mr. Larson stated that <br />discussions continue regarding the development agreement for the project. Mr. Larson <br />suggested a work session for Council to receive an update, provide input to Staff <br />regarding the project and for further information on a development agreement. <br /> <br />4. CentervillelRecycle Signage Replacement <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson explained that SCORE funding is available to fund recycling <br />slgnage. <br /> <br />5. Centerville Sesquicentennial <br /> <br />Mayor Capra stated that she recently attended an all school reunion and took photographs <br />that will be utilized in a collage of information from 1857 to present. <br /> <br />Council recessed to closed session at 7:45 p.m. <br /> <br />x.
