TO: Minnesota Department of Natural Resources

RE: Clearwater Trail Project

I learned that MN DNR is looking for input on this proposed project.
am a strong supporter of trails in general and this project in
particular. I live in the City of Wyoming and use the Sunrise Prairie
Trail (between North Branch and Forest Lake) extensively. I also use
the trail from Forest Lake to Hugo regularly. I would love to travel
on the Clearwater Trail as well.

While I have done walking and biking on these trails I prefer in-line
skating. On an average evening or weekend trip I will see dozens of
people using these wonderful facilities. Access is easy, the level of
fitness to enjoy the experience can range from way out of shape to
fitness fanatics. I began using these trails perhaps 8-10 miles per
week, last year I averaged nearly 60 miles a week. The investment in
projects like the Clearwater Trail effect entire communities an provide
safe relaxation for families. I hope sincerely hope this project
becomes a reality.

Neil Gatzow
P.O. Box 245
Wyoming, MN 55092
651-462-4028

4t
