Stat. 8 <br />275.065, subd. 4 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />r, <br />\ <br /> <br />Counties may apportion their costs for the preparation and mailing of the <br />notices among an of the participating local governments. If the county decides <br />to apportion these costs, they must use the following apportionment formula: <br />one-third to the county, one-third to the cities and towns within the county, and <br />one-third to the school districts within t~,~ county. These costs are then further <br />apportioned on the basis of the number of parcels of property located within the <br />cities, towns, and school districts. For example, a city with 20 percent of the <br />city and township parcels in the county could be required to pay 20 percent of <br />the one-third of total TNT costs apportioned to cities and towns. <br /> <br />League of Minnesota Cities <br />
