Councihnember Broussard Vickers indicated those with attached <br />garages would have to follow the current standards. <br /> <br />Councilmember Broussard Vickers noted it was the Planning Commission's <br />general feeling that it was better to have storage space available to residents than <br />to have the residents storing items in side and rear yards. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg asked if there were height limits. Councilmember Broussard <br />Vickers indicated this standard was already set within the Ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Capra to <br />approve the Ordinance #4 amendments as presented. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Park and Recreation's Request for a Pay Phone at LaMotte Park <br /> <br />Councilmember Capra noted information was provided to the Council within the <br />Park and Recreation minutes regarding a pay phone at LaMotte Park. She noted <br />the Park and Recreation Committee were recommending a pay phone at this park <br />for safety of those in the park. She reviewed the expenses with the Council and <br />noted the Commission's motion was to locate the phone under the awning on the <br />warming house with $80 per month allocated to cover the expense of the phone <br />along with $400 to cover the installation. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg suggested cost alternatives be investigated before this item were <br />to be approved. He indicated an emergency button could be placed at the park if <br />this is for safety issues. <br /> <br />Councilmember Broussard Vickers disagreed with the emergency phone, and <br />noted a pay phone would also be used for contacting parents or rides, along with <br />emergency use. She indicated this was a park maintenance issue and should not <br />be taken out of the park funds. <br /> <br />Councilmember Capra questioned who would be responsible for vandalism to the <br />phone. Mr. Hoeft noted Qwest would be responsible for the phone. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Broussard Vickers, seconded by Councilmember <br />Travis to contact Qwest to install a shared services phone as SU22ested by the <br />Park and Recreation Commission contin2ent upon the Police Departments <br />approval. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />7680 Lake Drive <br /> <br />Mr. Hoeft stated he was contacted by the property owner at 7680 Lake Drive in <br />Lino Lakes. He indicated a title issue has arisen at this site with regard to a <br />roadway easement with dated back to the village ofCenterville. Mr. Hoeft <br />indicated the mutual incorporations ofLino Lakes and Centerville did not abolish <br />this issue. <br /> <br />8 of 10 <br />
