. Mr. Hoeft noted a quit claim deed has been drafted to extinguish this roadway easement and noted this needs approval from the Council. He asked that the Council authorize the mayor to execute a quit claim deed for this property to clear up the title. Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Capra to authorize the Mayor to execute a Quit claim deed for the roadway easement on the ~roperty at 7680 Lake Drive. All in favor. Motion carried. IX. CONSENT AGENDA The City ofCenterville August 9 through August 22, 2001 Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Nelson to approve the expenditures for the City from AU2ust 9, 2001 throu2h AU2ust 22, 2001. All in favor. Motion carried. Centennial Fire District Expenses Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Nelson to approve the Centennial Fire District expenditures as presented by Staff. All in favor. Motion carried. X. COMMITTEE REPORTS Councilmember Broussard Vickers noted there would be five or six public hearings at the next Planning Commission meeting. She forewarned the Council these items would then be passing along to the Council. Councilmember Capra reviewed a memo regarding the Economic Development Committee stating they are in support with implementing City water in the downtown area for redevelopment. She noted at the July 12,2001 the Council approved the goals and objectives of the EDC. This Committee thanked the Council for their support. XI. PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR'S REPORT/CLERK/TREASURER'S REPORT Ms. Bender noted she had nothing to add at this time. Motion by Councilmember Nelson, seconded by Councilmember Capra to recess to an Executive Session at 8:10 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried. XII.
