<br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Hoeft noted a quit claim deed has been drafted to extinguish this roadway <br />easement and noted this needs approval from the Council. He asked that the <br />Council authorize the mayor to execute a quit claim deed for this property to clear <br />up the title. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Capra to <br />authorize the Mayor to execute a Quit claim deed for the roadway easement <br />on the ~roperty at 7680 Lake Drive. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />IX. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />The City ofCenterville August 9 through August 22, 2001 <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council <br />Member Nelson to approve the expenditures for the City from AU2ust 9, <br />2001 throu2h AU2ust 22, 2001. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Centennial Fire District Expenses <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council <br />Member Nelson to approve the Centennial Fire District expenditures as <br />presented by Staff. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />X. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Broussard Vickers noted there would be five or six public <br />hearings at the next Planning Commission meeting. She forewarned the Council <br />these items would then be passing along to the Council. <br /> <br />Councilmember Capra reviewed a memo regarding the Economic Development <br />Committee stating they are in support with implementing City water in the <br />downtown area for redevelopment. She noted at the July 12,2001 the Council <br />approved the goals and objectives of the EDC. This Committee thanked the <br />Council for their support. <br /> <br />XI. PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR'S REPORT/CLERK/TREASURER'S <br />REPORT <br /> <br />Ms. Bender noted she had nothing to add at this time. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Nelson, seconded by Councilmember Capra to <br />recess to an Executive Session at 8:10 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />XII.
