Ms. White advised that if the City receives any claims for injuries, the individual should
be instructed to first present same to their carrier, and then submit to the League.

Ms. White also suggested setting a time period for bikes; however, some parks have
allowed the youth to handle this on their own.

I contacted Chief Joel Heckman, Centennial Lakes Police Department, in regards to
activity of patrols at the park. Chief Heckman stated that they are patrolling the park the
same as any other area of the City; however, if Council desired, they would be happy
provide additional patrols. Chief Heckman stated that Council needed to take into
consideration the fact that the evening Community Service Officer (CSO) would be
finished with his position at the end of the week. Chief Heckman stated that one (1) CSO
would remain, but be on duty only during the day. Chief Heckman stated that he
included two (2) CSO officers in the Centennial Lakes Police Department 2002 budget.
Mr. Jerry Helmbrecht, Police Reserve, has volunteered to be at the park for several hours
per week. Due to vacations, Chief Heckman was unable to ascertain a schedule for Mr.
Helmbrecht, but would forward same early next week.

Attached, please find information received from the League regarding skate parks, Rules
and Regulations posted at the park, several police reports and two (2) complaints in
regards to recent activity and noise.
