CITY OF CENTERVILLE COMMUNICATIONS AD HOC COMMITTEE MEETING MAY 17, 2001 6:30 p.m. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville Communica . ons Ad Committee held their regularly scheduled meeting on May 17, 2001, at City Street. Ms. Amson gave a brief synopsis of her s, e pons' irti s and services provided by NMTC. Ms. Amson suggested that the i co I cab e cast all Committee/Commission meetings similar to that of the Cities of 1 i e n L ington. Ms. Amson suggested that NMTC could provide the City with in s t pi of programs that could either be played on the City's cable channel, a 15 or both. Ms. Amson stated that NMTC serves the areas of Blaine, nterville, Circle Pines, Ham Lake, Lexington, Lino Lakes and Spring Lake Park. Chair Brenner questioned the availability of Mr. Klang to tape additional Committee/Commission meetings in the fall. Committee Member Fairbrother questioned whether there were additional students that would be available to assist Mr. Klang in the added cable casting of meetings. Mr. Klang stated that several students were looking for opportunities. Ms. Amson stated that the Media Center has all equipment necessary for cable casting equipment. Ms. Amson stated that the Media Center currently videotapes numerous school events for the school and then those programs are played back on the school's cable channel, however, a hand held video camera could be received from Page 1 of7
