<br />April 16, 2001 <br />Fete des Lacs Festival Committee Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />14. Fireworks <br /> <br />Committee Member Sweeney had nothing to report on this item. <br /> <br />15. Operations <br /> <br />Thank you letters were discussed along with coupon pages being given as thank yous to <br />volunteers. Mr. Hurr questioned the papers that covered the area and stated that he <br />occasionally advertises specials on Sunday as "Family Day. Chair DeVine stated that <br />Thursday would be VIP day as discussed with Fundland last year. Mr. Hurr stated that he <br />could secure a couple of rides for Thursday. Chair DeVine stated that this item would <br />need to be discussed in further length to ascertain its possibility. Chair De Vine <br />questioned the size of the ferris wheel. Mr. Hurr stated approximately 55 feet. <br /> <br />V. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Chair De Vine stated that he would draft an overall list of events and times to be <br />forwarded to Committee Members and the Radio Operators. <br /> <br />VI. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Letterhead <br /> <br />Chair DeVine presented the Committee with two (2) samples of letterhead. <br /> <br />Motion made by Committee Member Peil to approve the submitted Festival <br />letterhead. Motion died for lack of second. <br /> <br />Committee Member Sweeney volunteered to draft something within the next two (2) <br />weeks. <br /> <br />2. Volunteer T-Shirts <br /> <br />The Committee needed to determine the manufacturer for the Lime Green T-Shirts <br />previously approved. <br /> <br />Motion made by Committee Member Sweeney. seconded by Chair DeVine to go <br />with Gilden as the manufacturer of the festival's Lime Green T-Shirts. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VII. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion made by Chair DeVine. seconded by Committee Member Sweeney to adjourn the <br />Fete des Lacs meetin2 of April 16. 2001 at 8:14 p.m. All in favor.
