<br />Centennial Fire District Expenses <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard-Vickers. seconded by Council <br />Member Capra to approve the Centennial Fire District expenditures. All in <br />favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />x. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />. Ray DeVine reported on the Fete des Lacs Festival. He noted this year's <br />buttons and flyers are posted at City Hall. Mr. Devine indicated the <br />softball tournament would be much larger this year, along with a 5K <br />run/walk sponsored by an outside company. He explained the Lion's <br />would be holding a raffle this year, raffling off a four-wheeler. Mr. <br />Devine noted volunteers and donations were still being sought. <br /> <br />XI. ADMINISTRATORS REPORT <br /> <br />Mr. Hoeft noted he had comments on the Turcotte Purchase Agreement. He <br />stated after speaking with Ms. Turcotte's attorney, she agreed to escrow up to <br />$2,000 of the expense for registering the title with the City paying the other <br />portion. He recommended approval of this suggestion and noted if approved, the <br />closing would take place on Friday at City Hall. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Capra. seconded by Council Member <br />Broussard-Vickers to approve the $2.000 escrow. provided by Ms. Turcotte. <br />to cover the expense of the title registration as sU2gested by the City Attorney <br />with the closing to take place on Friday at City Hall. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />XII. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard-Vickers. seconded by Council <br />Member Travis to adjourn the July 11. 2001 Council Meeting at 9:39 p.m. <br />All in favor.
