<br />Examine Communication Methods <br />Council formed an Ad Hoc Committee Chaired by Theresa Brenner to make <br />recommendations on Websites, newsletters, cable television, and records management <br />such as document archival and imaging. Council desires a comprehensive review of all <br />areas of communication and particularly is interested in methods that enhance <br />participation from the citizens of Centerville. <br /> <br />Responsible Leader: Theresa Brenner <br />Product: Final Report to Council <br />Plan to be Approved: Wednesday, November 12, 2001 Council Meeting <br />Plan to be implemented: Progress reports from the Committee would be helpful. <br />Council may implement committee recommendations <br />prior to the final report date. <br /> <br />Action Taken: <br />. Staff has investigated Laserfiche document archival software and is exploring other <br />vendors that can provide electronic storage of City documents and plans. Council <br />will probably get a recommendation this year <br />. A new bimonthly magazine called Town Life may offer an opportunity to inform and <br />promote Centerville to our residents and surrounding communities. <br />. Progress reports and recommendations from the committee are being implemented <br />as they come before Council <br />.
