2 City of Centerville Design Guidelines Our Proposal #S600.00 May 15, 2001 EXCLUSIONS/ADDITIONAL SERVICES A. Contingent Additional Services The following services are not included in the Basic Services outlined above: 1. Revisions to the documents when the revisions are inconsistent with the approvals obtained from the City. 2. Providing services required because of significant changes in the Project including, but not limited to size, quality, complexity, Client's schedule, or method of documenting the guidelines. 3. Site visits and meetings beyond those outlined in above scope of services. B. Optional Additional Services The following services are not included in the Basic Services outlined above, however, they can be provided as an Additional Service: 1. Development of sample site layouts or building image sketches. 2.. Design or selection of graphics and signage. Additional Services beyond the current scope will be billed on an hourly basis plus reimbursable expenses. It is our intention to discuss any additions to the fee prior to additional work beginning and/or invoicing of additional work. PROFESSIONAL FEES/BILLING TERMS We have assigned our Proposal #600.00 to this project. The following summarizes fees and estimated reimbursable expenses for your budget purposes: A. Research and Exploration, and Design Guidelines B. Implementation $ 2,200 To be billed hourly, as incurred Estimated Reimbursable Expenses $ 400 The fixed fee for our services will be billed upon substantial completion. We have enclosed a copy of our current hourly rates, standard reimbursable expenses and billing terms, which are incorporated herein by reference. Reimbursable expenses will be billed in addition to the fee for our services, including but not limited to: reproductions, plotting, copies, color printing, long-distance calls, reductions, postage, deliveries, facsimile transmissions, mileage, lettering, boards, photographs, renderings, etc. All projects are invoiced monthly for the preceding month's work. Invoices are payable 30 days from invoice date. Amount unpaid 31 days after the invoice date shall bear interest at the prevailing legal rate.
