were given "mis"information when we were building. In other words some procedures
apply to some of us but apparently not all of us.

We feel that the property value of our home has gone down significantly. Why didn't
this permit go before the City Council, Rice Creek Watershed District, and the City
Engineers with the neighbors within 350' being notified and asked for their input? Does
a "substitute" attorney make a decision that overrides the City Council and those
concerned? Why have a plan at all if it won't be followed? Obviously this sets a
precedence for future lakeshore building with the neighbors, City Council, City
Engineers and the Rice Creek Watershed District left out of the decision making process.
We are new here and perhaps nalve about city functions but we believe that this is a
travesty of justice in the highest order. The way this issue was handled affects our
property value as well as our neighbors in compliance. Ifthis is politics "as usual" in
Centerville, we are extremely disappointed.

We are requesting to be on the agenda for the City Council meeting on March 14.

SJpc~r~ly, I I . .9./
q~.Jw~~~
Wayne and Shirley Blake
1275 Mound Trail
Centerville, MN 55038
651-426-7538
