<br />I have discussed this issue with Mr. Palzer, his main concern is for training, i.e. weather <br />conditions, work schedules, etc. for the 2 day training session. <br /> <br />Mr. Palzer stated that the City of Lino Lakes is up and running with their Sensus <br />equipment and he has found them very helpful. Mr. Palzer suggested that we meet with <br />them to discuss installation problems, software problems and obtain suggestions from <br />them to assist us in our installation. The City of Lino Lakes has volunteered to help <br />program meters if needed. Mr. Palzer will schedule a meeting within the next couple of <br />weeks. <br /> <br />My understanding is that installation of equipment has been hindered by various reasons, <br />accounting software change over, not anticipating future purchases, staff changes, time <br />allotments, etc. <br /> <br />My suggestion is to obtain the proposed software and have it installed as soon as <br />possible, then contact Sensus for installation of their software and training. I believe this <br />goal could be obtained prior to April I, 2001 barring Public Works' schedule. Arranging <br />MID programming and installation will take the largest amount of time. Mr. Palzer may <br />be able to projected time for completing in this area. <br />
