<br />CENTENNIAL FIRE DEPARTMENT RELIEF ASSOCIATION BYLAWS <br /> <br />Section 4. <br />It shall be the duty or ~he board or trustees to prepare <br />modes and plans ror the sale and profitable investment of <br />the unappropriated funds of the association, and whenever <br />loans or investments are made, to investi~Ate and pass upon <br />the securities orrered and to attend tc ehe drawing and <br />execution of the necessary papers. The board shall order an <br />audit or the books and accounts of the secretary and <br />treasurer annually, according to law, and shall submit a <br />written report or the condition of the association to the <br />members at the annual meeting. <br /> <br />Section 5. <br />The investment ot the funds of the association shall be In <br />the exclusive control or the board or trustees, In <br />conrormance wi~h state statutes. <br /> <br />Section 6. <br />The members of the board shall act as trustees <br />fiduciary obligation to the State of Minnesota, <br />Centennial Fire commission and to the members <br />association. <br /> <br />with a <br />to the <br />or the <br /> <br />ARTICLE III <br /> <br />Duties of Officers <br /> <br />Section 1. fresident. <br />It shall be the duty of the President to attend and preside <br />at all meetings of the association and the board of <br />trustees. The President shall enforce the due observance or <br />the Articles of Incorporation and the bylaws and see that <br />the officers properly perform the duties assigned to them. <br />The fresident shall be a member of all committees except the <br />aid committee and shall exercise careful supervision over <br />the affairs of the association. The President shall receive <br />such salary as may be fixed from time to time by the board <br />of trustees, subject ~o approval of the association, and <br />payable from the SpeCial Fund of the association. <br /> <br />Section 2. Vice Presiden~. <br />It shall be the duty of the Vice President to perform the <br />duties of the President in his absence. In the absence of <br />both the President and the Vice President, it shall be the <br />duty of the association to elect a fresident fro tem, who <br />shall perform the duties incident to the office. <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />r'l7'T.
